Show Summary-
"The Deadly Engagement" is a comedic murder mystery set during a spoof dating show called The (Insert City) Bachelor. Patrick Marsh, an egotistical and clueless bachelor, meets six quirky contestants, all competing for his affection—and a massive cash prize and honeymoon trip to Cleveland, Ohio. After a series of awkward, funny, and bizarre dates, Patrick proposes to the quiet and mysterious Sarah Gray.
But just as the celebration begins, jealousy and greed bubble to the surface. Several rejected contestants plot to steal the cash prize, and others joke (or maybe not) about murder. Soon after Patrick goes to drop off the money, someone ends up dead, and it's up to the detective—and the audience—to figure out who did it.
